A colleague of mine recently posted about how Dopplr now keeps track of your carbon profile, based on the trips you have scheduled in the past and in the future. In the spirit of sharing, I’m already at 7,596 8,418kg — and counting — for the year. In my defense, the flights were going to take off anyway; I just happened to be on them. This assuages the guilt a little, though I imagine clubbing baby seals and mixing recyclables with regular trash doesn’t help. Sorry, earth. I’ll do better next time.
